Dr. Rosemary Chinelo Chikwendu (LLM International Commercial Law, BL, FICMC, MCIArb UK, PON-Harvard.)

Dr. Rosemary Chikwendu is a Lawyer, Mediator, Arbitrator, Negotiator, Counselor and a founding Partner of Chikwendu & Chikwendu & Co Legal Practitioners, Mediators & Arbitrators.

She is a Fellow of the Institute of Chartered Mediators and Conciliators Nigeria (ICMC), a certified Mediation Trainer of the Institute and the Chair of the Abuja Branch of the Institute.

She is the Alternate Chairperson of the Dispute Resolution Committee of Nigerian Bar Association Abuja Branch (NBA), a former Chair of the Crimes against Women Sub-Committee of the International Bar Association (IBA).

Dr. Rosemary is a Life member of the International Federation of Women Lawyers FIDA and Head Programs Committee, Nigerian Women Mediators Network.

Her quest for expertise in Alternative Dispute Resolution ADR led to her acquisition of knowledge and certifications in different fields of ADR from some renowned institutions like: International Law Institute (ILI) Georgetown University, Washington D. C. USA; Mediation and Arbitration,            United Nations Institute for Training and Research (UNITAR) Communication and Negotiation; The PULSE Institute Canada Etc.

Mrs Rosemary received an Ambassador for Peace Award in 2019 and a Professional Fellowship Doctorate Award for excellence in leadership in 2021.
