Prince Adetokunbo Kayode is a corporate lawyer, tax expert and international arbitrator.
He has attained the highest rank (Senior Advocate of Nigeria) and the highest honor (Life Bencher) that a lawyer may attain in Nigeria.
In addition, he is a Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Arbitration, UK; Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Mediators and Conciliators of Nigeria; and Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Taxation of Nigeria.
He studied law at the University of Lagos, Strategic Leadership at Oxford and Cambridge Universities, Strategy and Public Communications at the (World Bank/ Annenberg Program) University of Southern California, as well as Strategic Negotiations training at Harvard University.
He has Diploma in International Commercial Arbitration and also passed the Fast Track Fellowship Program examination of the Chartered of Institute of Arbitrators (UK).
He has undertaken several courses organized by the Chartered Institute of Arbitrators (UK), International Chamber of Commerce (Paris) and the Swiss Arbitration Association. He is also a member of these Arbitral Centers.
He has conducted several arbitral proceedings as Arbitrator and also as Counsel.
He served the Government of Nigeria variously as Culture and Tourism Minister; Labour and Employment Minister; Attorney General and Justice Minister and finally as Defence Minister.
Kayode owns and runs legal and tax consultancy firms. He is also on the board of several companies.
He serves on the boards of the National Associations of Chambers of Commerce, Industry Mines and Agriculture of Nigeria (NACCIMA), Pan African Chamber of Commerce and Industry (PACCI) and the D8 Chamber of Commerce and Industry (D8-CCI)
He served as the President of Abuja Chamber of Commerce and Industry.
