Grace Inikpi Edogbo is the Founding Partner at Exceeding Attorneys. She specializes in Alternative Dispute Resolution (ADR), social justice and human rights with focus on mediation and peacebuilding. She is actively engaged in matters bordering on Human Rights and Humanitarian Law as it relates to the Nigerian Army. Her research interests include positive peace, human security, conflict resolution, negotiation, human needs, human rights and conflict management. She facilitates non-violent communication that helps individuals and organisations articulate their key interests and find creative options that meet their needs.
She earned a Bachelor’s degree in Law from Ahmadu Bello University, Zaria and has since been called to the Nigerian Bar. She is a Notary Public of the Supreme Court of Nigeria. She is a Fellow of the Institute of Chartered Mediators and Conciliators (ICMC), an accredited Mediator and a member of the ICMC Online Dispute Resolution (ODR) Panel of Neutrals. She is also a member of the International Bar Association (IBA), African Bar Association (AFBA), Nigerian Bar Association (NBA), and the Nigerian Bar Association Women Forum (NBAWF). Grace is a Peace Ambassador with the Institute for Economics and Peace (IEP), and she has been committed to implementing and promoting peacebuilding projects in her community. She is currently advancing her career prospects in peacebuilding with the Global Peace Foundation. She is a past Financial Secretary of the Institute of Chartered Mediators and Conciliators, Abuja Branch. She volunteered her services with the Nigerian Army, Directorate of Legal Services, where reviewed cases from the General Court Martial (GCM) and provided legal advice
